Last week I visited my Norwegian friend Kirsten where she lives with her boyfriend in Kiryat Tivon, about half hour away from Haifa. There, we met up with another friend from our Hebrew class and all her native Tivon-ite friends. We visited this place called Beit She'arim, which is a site with Jewish cave-tombs. After that, we all went to a nearby national park that has a great overlook of the valley and surrounding mountains. Ohad made us turkish coffee on a little, portable gas-lit heater. Yuval brought his nargila pipe, played some songs on the guitar, and we enjoyed the rest of the day there until the sun went down.
A nice day away from Haifa :)
