first update from my room.

we finally have internet in the apartment... woot.

Yesterday was such a lazy shabbat. I slept at jo's house till afternoon and watched the movie Amelie curled up in a huge comforter... with many cups of tea. then adi came over and we read parts of Luke and Acts together, cooked dinner, then went to a classical music concert/opera where our romanian friend Daniel, a professional opera singer, was singing that night. afterwards was a birthday party from someone in the congregation. I met Eitan and Caitlin, who had apparently heard much about me from Jo. there were good times all around.

i received a package from my aunt and uncle today... full of tea!! i've already tried two different kinds today: darjeeling, and the numi puerh tea. super weird name. i loveit.

this week i'm back to the grindstone, going to class, etc etc. it's getting quite chilly too. i'm feeling a trip to Jerusalem or Tel Aviv soon.. probably Tel Aviv, since I've still not yet been.
