random updates

Life's been goooood. First week of classes are done. Right now I'm sitting outside on one of the hottest days since summer, enjoying my weekly THREE DAY WEEKEND.

I decided to take another Hebrew class after all. And my conversation is getting much better.

Yesterday Rachel, Simon, and I went to Tents of Mercy like every shabbat. And as God answered our prayers about really connecting with people there, we met an American named David who goes to the youth meetings and he's just really easy to talk to and get along with... so he might be our connection to the israelis, since it's sort of intimidating to speak hebrew at first. Rachel and I ended up going with David to a student conference in downtown Haifa right after... It was a great opportunity to meet Messianic believers from around the whole country and pray for eachother. I am continually encouraged by what the Lord is doing through the simple act of our being obedient to Him.

We are meeting on a consistent basis to listen to audio teaching and pray, or just hang out. I feel very encouraged with how God is responding to prayer.

As for classes, my Jewish Ethnic Group class is the most interesting. I even decided to pick up another class about Terrorism & Responses, which is a very popular one here.

Cool beans... Until next time.
