a good week includes:

-Drinking beer, smoking hookah, and talking about Judaism and Jesus with my neighbors.

-praying with friends and having good discussions about the Torah and Tanakh.

-A big Arab lunch in the druze village with Simon.

-Exploring new places, like the monastery on top of mount carmel, even though it took awhile to walk there on a (mostly) deserted, hot road, with only a herd of goats and a herd of cows to greet us along the way. Once we got there, we had a beautiful view of all the mountains of Jerusalem, Lebanon in the north, and the Mediterranean sea to the west.

-Feeling more comfortable speaking Hebrew.

-Sitting on the grass outside reading in the shade.
